These zones comprise the central areas of three cities – Kathmandu (with Hanuman Dhoka), Patan, and Bhaktapur – featuring palaces, temples, and public spaces. Additionally, there are sacred clusters at Swayambhu, Bauddhanath, Pashupati, and Changu Narayan. The Swayambhu site hosts the valley’s oldest Buddhist stupa, while Boudhanath is home to Nepal’s largest stupa.

 

Pashupati area is known for its extensive Hindu temple complex, and Changu Narayan includes a traditional Newari settlement and a Hindu temple complex, notable for one of the valley’s earliest inscriptions from the fifth century AD. The area’s distinctive tiered temples are built mainly from fired brick and mud mortar, with wooden structures.

 

Their roofs are adorned with overlapping terracotta tiles and embellished with gilded brass. The decoratively carved windows, doorways, and roof struts add to the aesthetic appeal. The stupas, characterized by their large, whitewashed hemispheres, support gilded cubes bearing the eternal Buddha eyes, symbolizing all-seeing awareness.

DAY 01: ARRIVE IN KATHMANDU

 

Upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport, you will be greeted and assisted by our representative after completing your custom formalities, transfer to hotel for check-in. Evening attend aarti at Pashupatinath Temple later drive back to hotel. Overnight at Kathmandu hotel.

 

DAY 02: KATHMANDU CITY SIGHTSEEING TOUR

 

After breakfast Kathmandu city sightseeing tour, visit Swoyambhunath Stupa(World heritage site),Jala Narayan Temple (Sleeping Vishnu) ,Kathmandu Durbar Square(Living God Kumari) & Bouddhanath Stupa (World Heritage site) later drive back to hotel. Overnight is at Hotel in Kathmandu.

 

DAY 03 : KATHMANDU - DRIVE TO CHANDRAGIRI HILLS VIA CABLE CAR RIDE

 

After breakfast drive to Chandragiri hill continue take Cable car ride(2/3 Hours) darshan of Bhaleswar Mahadev Temple afternoon drive to Patan Darbur Squire (Krishna Mandir) later drive to hotel. Overnight is at Hotel in Kathmandu.

 

DAY 04: KATHMANDU DEPARTURE TRANSFER

 

After breakfast ,the morning will be comparatively free and closer to the time of your flight ,you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight for onward journey.
